TMI Products, Inc. is a family-owned company founded in 1982 by four brothers.  The Tuccinardi brothers began making Volkswagen door panels in their family garage in Torrance, California.

TMI makes high-quality interior automotive components such as seating, interior consoles, floor coverings, door panels, convertible roof assemblies, headliners, sun visors, and integrated electronic systems.  For more than 25 years TMI Products, Inc. has specialized in developing high quality interior components for new premier models as well as restoration vehicles.

TMI is one of the largest manufacturers of custom, contract, and original automotive interiors for the complete line of Volkswagen models, full-line Mustang trim, and sun visors for other classic cars.  TMI has consistently expanded its facilities, setting the pace for the industry and effectively serving the increasing needs of both established and new customers…This has solidified TMI’s position as an Industry Leader.

TMI has developed the process for matching interior components to the original OEM manufacturing specifications.  TMI’s team of design specialists examine the OEM fabric and stitching to ensure duplication is authentic and meets or exceeds all Safety requirements.  All leather, vinyl, and fabrics are manufactured to the Original OEM specifications to achieve long-life durability and a look that matches its natural wear.

TMI is constantly looking at emerging product opportunities to provide the industry with the next generation of products to serve their customers needs.

TMI Products, Inc. has grown substantially from the garage based door panel manufacturing in the 1980’s.  As business grew the Tuccinardi brothers expanded into a VW retail parts and opened a store in Hawthorne, CA.. This store was used to sell their products, which were manufactured onsite. The store continues to operate today. With their true passion in design and development, the Tuccinardi brothers opened a separate manufacturing facility in 1992.

Successfully introducing their line of VW interiors, TMI moved their operations to a brand new 49,000 sq. ft. facility in Corona, CA.. In 1994, expanding their Classic line, TMI began manufacturing Classic Mustang upholstery. Venturing into the OEM market TMI quickly required a larger facility.  In 2001, TMI moved to their present day facility of 139,000 sq. ft.  In this facility, TMI expanded operations into another division for Integrated Electronic Entertainment Systems for vehicles under the VIZUALOGIC brand.

The VIZUALOGIC brand includes video systems integrated in headrests, sun visors, and overheads.  Our complete in-house manufacturing process allows the VIZUALOGIC products to be shipped within the same-day or next day of placing orders. TMI’s streamline integration manufacturing processes allows for high volume and short run projects. VIZUALOGIC OEM customers have been BMW, Hummer and Toyota. Currently we are expanding the VIZUALOGIC brand into the European Market. In 2005 TMI has setup a Research and Development office in China to compliment our product development program.

Along their path the Brothers have developed a corporate group of six companies, growing the financial strength of the Corporate Group. TMI Products Inc. is only one of these Corporations. An affiliated Company owns all facilities. TMI continues to look to the future to be the Leader in both Classic products and Integrated Electronic Entertainment Systems.
