Good Guys Del Mar So Cal Nationals
The Beach Boys wrote the book on beach vibes. With hit songs such as Surfin’ USA, Little Surfer Girl, and Surfin’ Safari, it’s hard to be at the beach in Southern California and not hear these tunes ringing in your head.
When Good Guys Rod and Custom sets up shop at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, they encapsulate the essence of the beach vibes. This location is mere feet from the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. The cool salty air is ever present along with the smells and sights that come with the beach.
Being a Southern California born company, TMI Products has a connection with that beach vibe. Our K5 Blazer or '55 Bel Air Convertible are just about the perfect vehicles to hit PCH with to enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds. When Good Guys Del Mar So Cal Nationals came to town, you can bet we were there soaking up the sun and showing off our latest seats and upholstery.
This show started early Friday morning and the people were lined up ready to get in and get their favorite parking spot on the show field. These cars were meticulously restored and polished to bring out the best shine in the paint and everywhere else. TMI was set up in the vendor row, right in the middle of the show and across from the Good Guys trailer that was selling merchandise all weekend long. In our booth was the classic blue Magnaflow 1966 Ford Bronco and the Schott Wheels 1992 OBS Chevy truck. These two vehicles displayed TMI Complete Interiors that are a great representation of the width of TMI’s offerings.
In the booth we had several different seats available for people to touch, feel, and most importantly – have a seat in. The best way to check out a TMI seat is to have a seat, move around and see the true comfort and performance of these seats. All around us throughout the weekend cars were cruising by in a style reminiscent of days gone by. The show field was full of classics built in every style you can imagine. We could also hear revving engines and screeching tires from the Autocross course competitors. There was never a shortage of people smiling and enjoying themselves all weekend long. We hope to see you at the next one!
